VGMA2023: If I Don't Win Album Of The Year, I'll Go Home And Have Meeting With The Rastas And Move On - Black Sheriff
The “Kwaku The Traveller” hit maker has been interviewed ahead of the 2023 VGMA by one of the fastest growing bloggers in Ghana, Zion Felix. Black Sheriff is very confident of snatching most of the awards this weekend.
Black Sheriff since dropping the first sermon has dominated the music industry till now. Every song that contains his voice from then has been a hit. People even have the perception that the “Paradise” hit maker has made every other musician in Ghana “useless”. The moment he drops a song, any other song out there is suppressed.
Having an interview with Zion Felix, Black Sheriff divulged that he has not made Ghanaian musicians “useless” as Ghanaians claim. For him, he is more focused and working hard on his music career.
Talking of the VGMA, he stated boldly that he'll make it away with the award for the album of year definitely with “Villain I Never Was”. However, despite being confident of winning that award, he will not be shocked if the award escapes him because nothing is certain on this Earth.
“ I'll definitely win the album of the year but if it doesn't go that way, I'll just go home and have a thanksgiving service with the Rastas and then we continue making music. Time is not on our side”- He said.
He therefore pleaded with Ghanaians to appreciate his good work and vote for him.
